The nursery has a full policies folder, which is available for parents to read at any time, and includes information on:
- Safeguarding
- Behavior Management
- Settling in policy
- Outings
- Child collection policy
- Fire policy
- Medication policy
We recommend that all parents take time to read through them from time to time due to changes in legislation.
Your child’s security
We know that when we’re in charge of your children you need to know that they are safe at all times. We have a thorough security policy, which includes:
- Safety coded locks on exterior doors
- A secure sign in and sign out entry system
- No child can leave unless staff can identify the person picking up (and in cases where the person is not a nominated contact they must verify themselves with a password)
- Visitors to the nursery must sign in and out and are closely supervised for their duration of stay
- At no time will visitors be left with unaccompanied children
